The Cortisol “Boogeyman”

Happy Sunday!

Sarah here! Happy belated Valentine’s Day if you celebrate. I shall be honest- it historically has been my least favorite Holiday, I love almost all of them but this one just feels like a lot of shoulds , restaurants packed with lame prix fe menus and a chance for Hallmark to clean up. BUT this year was different. Why because my BFF got MARRIED yesterday and I was honored to be her matron of honor. I got to witness and be a part of real Love - that I’m so about that. However you feel about Valentine’s Day, I do love celebrating women, being a part of their lives and leveling up together.

Which brings me to today’s topic. Cortisol.

The Cortisol “Boogeyman”

“Will my training wreck my hormones?”

“Is cortisol making me fat?”
“I need to be careful in my luteal phase.”

PCOS Just Became PMOS. But What About Women in Menopause? What about the women in menopause who were never diagnosed?
Happy Sunday everyone. Mere here, and this week was full. I look back over all the diverse conversations and situations I am privileged to support and be a part of and I am just in awe. But I also cannot sugar coat it, this week was bittersweet. My family crossed a fast and ferocious finish line of renovations and put my parents' home on the market. I got emotional seeing that home restored to ...
What my mom taught me at 14 about Advocating for My Health
When I was 14 years old my Mom advocated for my health . Okay let’s be real she was from before my day 1 - and for that I am so so blessed. I know not everyone has that story. Happy Mother’s Day Mom My mom taught me something when I was 14. And that lesson is woven into everything I do today as a Coach, mentor and someone who cares deeply about every human having knowledge to support their b...
