A Reader Asks, Part Two: How Do You Actually Choose a Delivery Method?
Happy Sunday, Mere here.
Are you ready for part two!?! Quick context for anyone newer here: I'm answering reader questions that come in through an anonymous form, one at a time, with real depth. Last week was week one of that, the first submission I sat down and answered publicly.
So to catch you up a little: two weeks ago a woman wrote in. She's 36 to 40, cycling like clockwork, not on anything, has had labs done. She asked me two things. What are the benefits of hormone therapy, and how do you choose a delivery method once you're looking at it.
Last week was benefits. Estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, what's real, what's overhyped, what her specific picture does and doesn't tell us yet. [That one's here if you missed it.]
This week I'm answering the second half. Oral, troches, patches, creams, injections, pellets, vaginal.... I tell you exactly where I land on each one, including why pellets are typically a no for me. [Full blog is here.]
And I'll just say, I already have another question on deck that I cannot wait to get into. Surgical menopause, and part of what she asked overlaps with methods and modes too, so this week's piece sets up that one nicely.
Okay, switching gears for a second because I want to say this clearly as I tend to speed through these things thinking everyone already knows. So here it is...
Sarah and I both offer 1:1 mentorship. We also run a group mentorship program together. If you're in 1:1, group is automatically included, and that means two group calls a month plus live office hours every quarter. (which we have a live office hours THIS THURSDAY!)
If you're a coach and you've hit a wall, a case you can't crack, a client conversation that went sideways, a place where you know you're operating outside what you were trained on, that's exactly what these calls are for. You bring it.
If that's something you have been curious about, shoot us a message HERE, or just hit reply and ask us directly.
That's it for me this week. Go read part two, and if you've got a question of your own, [the form's still open]. I'll see you in two weeks with the next one.
