JANUARY 2024

Sarah:

  • THIS Body Gua Sha tool for a little lymphatic drainage support . I do it once a week (ish) or you can add more frequently when not feeling well

  • I use THIS oil with it

  • I am loving THIS Vitamin C Face Serum. I use it daily.

  • I am really enjoying Meg Sylvester’s YouTube Channel

Meredith:

February 2024

Sarah:

  • Podcast “#423. Greatness, Marriage, Parenthood, & Climbing New Mountains | Chris Bumstead” I enjoyed ! I like Jordan Peterson and this was a fun interview with some good takeaways.  Apple Link / Spotify Link

  • More cardio going down for me now.  I started a playlist for some cardio PRs SPOTIFY-Link

  • Whole food vitamin c for clients to add in for allergy and cold season  US- Link / CAN (alternative)- Link

Meredith:

  • I received THE DAILY STOIC as a gift (Thank you!) and am really enjoying it! US-Link. / CAN- Link

  • Another great daily read I thoroughly enjoyed previously was The Maxwell Daily Reader. US-Link / CAN- Link

  • Totally crushing on THIS Air Fryer Blackened Mahi Mahi rub recipe! For the record I am not a recipe girl nor do I typically like food-rubs, but let me tell you… wow! We (this is a royal we. My husband should get full credit for this one) have used it on air fried tilapia and chicken!

March 2024

Sarah:

  • Cocofloss Woven Dental Floss,. Remember to only floss the ones you want to keep! Sarah found this gem of floss that has coconut oil, For those who do not know coconut oil has antimicrobial properties. This is one of many reasons we also recommend it as a lovely fat source (not the floss! Do not ingest floss! ). You may have heard of oil pulling, which has been found to have benefits, however the time frame usually suggests (5 minutes) and the texture can lead this to not be something many people utilize, at least for a long time (PSA: salt water rinsing and gargling goes very far!). This floss could be a great addition to your interdental hygiene routine.

  • Chris Williamson Youtube/Podcast: Deconstructing Success Down To The Psychological Level - Morgan Housel (author of Same as Ever:A Guide to What Never Changes )

Meredith:

  • LOOP Earplugs: I am still waiting for these babies to arrive.Never did I ever think I’d use earplugs to sleep but here we are. Currently navigating sleeping while living on the main street to a newer neighbourhood with a lot of construction (cue big dump trucks and cement/brick cutting machines ). I never realized how quiet living on a military base was till we didn't. Review pending!

  • Not a favourite item but a favourite action: Getting militant with time blocking my schedule. It sounds silly and even simple but I assure you till you do an ACTUAL audit and start time blocking you don't realize how much more you can do with your day for the positive (which is not to be confused with filling it for the sake of being busy). I truly enjoy mapping out my to-do's and crossing them off as I go.

APRIL 2024

Sarah:

  • Girls night idea ( activity outside going out to eat/drinking ) Tulip One-Step Tie-Dye Party, 18

  • Yin yoga classes at my local studio. Really good time to decompress, stretch and focus on breath work. You can find YouTube videos too. HERE is a channel with some yin style

Meredith:

  • Going back to the LOOP earplugs from March. They have now been tested and I 10/10 recommend. It took me a few nights to get used to the feeling of something but I can say now they are a must in our present situation.

  • Saying YES to things (namely my first and definitely not last photoshoot) that I have always thought about doing but never felt worthy of. Oh, the stories we tell our selves...

  • Sandwiches! Specifically, Bagels. This is my toasted bagel sandwich season. I don't have a specific brand but I can say this is a 'no puny bagel zone'.

MAY 2024

Sarah:

Meredith:

  • I really enjoy Steven Bartlett's interviews, The Diary Of A CEO. We watch the YouTube episode like a movie or sometimes I attempt to listen to the podcast (this is not my podcast season). I am currently listening to Dr Wendy Suzuki episode (May 23, 2024) " The Exercise Neuroscientist: NEW RESEARCH, The Shocking Link Between Exercise And Dementia!" It is great! HERE is the YouTube. or You can find it on Spotify, Apple or any media platform

  • Golden Hour Walks! I LOVE summer. I love all parts of the day differently but my golden hour walks are just everything and more.

JUNE 2024

Sarah:

Meredith:

  • It was water bottle replacement time and I went with the 40 oz from Simple Modern (Canadian link) (US Link) . Don't get me wrong I love my 1G IronFlask but I find a 40 oz is a lot more portable. I went with the color "Almond Birch" but you know my eye is on Sea Glass, Retro Mint, Sandy Seas and that Lavender.

  • My Favourite meal these days has been a local wild boar sausage paired with a veggie and either sweet potato or little potato company (available at Costco and many grocery stores) potatoes.
